Interesting Christmas Vacation

That was so funny when we came inside of the building so Annie and Morgie returned the rents. Oh gosh! Somehow it's true because it was so crowd in the skate rank.

I took a good picture of Annie and Morgie, uh?

I saw that when we walked to Central Park. Interesting bicycle.

Annie gave me for Christmas.

This year was different. I stayed here Maryland for Christmas. Last Monday afternoon I went up New York to stay at Honor Family (Annie was nanny for this family for several years and now she comes visit this family sometimes to see the kids.) Annie and I took Morgan, 8 years old, to New York and have fun. We went different places in Central Park. Oh boy, the little roads were icy. Mostly main road was plowed, but not popular roads. I was afraid that I would fell because I did fall last Sunday morning.

Another part was fun for me is to be their photography. I caught several good pictures and pride myself for taking good pictures! Of course, I’m not EVEN on the same level as professional photography--gosh I wish I’m on the same level! Dang it. Maybe in a few years... UMM..

Okay, okay, see that bicycle picture--well, we parked my car and walked to the Central Park. I saw that bicycle and had to take this picture. I thought it was funny. The person must collect the card (subway card). Why the person wanted to put on that bicycle? Wanted to put it on so able to identify?

Second picture: I did not want to go ice skating so I decided to take pictures so after Annie and Morgan finished and put rental ice skates away. Oh boy! It was insane crowd inside of the building (as well on the rank) and workers were not able to put the skates away quickly enough. So forth pictures you can see Annie and Morgan on the ice and last picture both were on the bridge when we left the ice rank to go a big toy store.

I think I was crazy enough to take pictures while it was COLD outside. I took my gloves off and take pictures. BRRR! So far, my Christmas vacation was an interesting experiences. I started to think what to do for next Christmas. Haha! I admit it would be so sad to take the Christmas tree down soon and knowing that I will not see it again until next year. Sighs. Christmas come and gone so quickly!

I guess that’s all for now. I don’t know what to do but planning to go Washington D.C. to see new American Museum. It have been closed for two or three years. It finally opened last month. And my goal is NOT to get sick over the holiday before January 12th. Fingers cross.

I guess it’s safer to say Happy New Year..

The Clever Squirrel

After Christmas, Annie and I were ready to go home next morning but Annie promised to make sugar cookies and frost the cookies with kids. Annie and Morgie (8 years old) was making the dough. I was staring at the window to see what’s up outside. I spotted a squirrel climb on the thin branches. I was amazed how the squirrel was able to do that. I was wondering if the squirrel fell? Anyway, I watched the squirrel and realized what the squirrel was doing--stealing bird food from the bird house. It was amazing how the squirrel did by legs hold the little branch while getting the food with hands. The squirrel was successful until the next day. The squirrel somehow lost the grip and tried to hold on the bird house instead falling.. Gosh, the squirrel did best to keep hold but failed and fall!! Lucky the squirrel was okay.

I wanted to take a picture because it was so funny! I ran to get my camera and get it ready as hoping the squirrel will do again. It took awhile until the squirrel decided to try again to steal the food. Whew! I got it but the squirrel didn’t stay there much longer as I tried to get more picture. That picture was only ONE I took! I was going to get close up but no squirrel. Dang. At least I have one. :D I still think it’s so funny how the squirrel did that.
